City tour and Panama Canal

Panama is a small multicultural country, a tropical country, a small strip of land that divides the oceans and unites the world through the Panama Canal, is a country where people from all over the world have chosen as their home, we have interesting historical sites and a growing modern city, here you can visit the Casco Antiguo, this neighborhood is the hostorical district of Panama, visit islands, a mountain and one of the wonders of modern engineering, the Panama Canal , all without leaving the city, let me be your guide in panama and show all these sites.

ITINERARY

pick up at your hotel, depending on the activities of the canal, we either going to the canal or the old town (casco viejo) once at the canal, you will see the transit of the ships throug the locks, there is a Museum and a movie theater for a video (10 minutes) about the history of he canal, we depart from the canal to visit the handicraft market at the entrance of the coastway amador, after that visit we drive to the islands connected to mainland through a 6 kms road named Naos, Perico and Flamenco with a beautiful view of the skyline (you might choose this place for lunch as well (i can recommend you some good restaurants) then we visit the historical district of Panama, the casco viejo, there we can walk aroud the narrow streets and I will give you all the information of that interesing site, also you can buy some handicrafts around the different plazas, finally I can droop you off at your hotel, mall or any other place on the city.

MEETING LOCATION + TOUR DURATION

Meeting location: I will pick you up at your hotel lobby on the panama city for this tour, if you arrive on a cruise at the pacific side the meeting point will be the main entrance of the duty free store at the flamenco island, if come in transit at the international airport, i will need your flight number info so i can print a banner with your name. ( the pick up at the international airport has an additional cost of $ 30)

End location: the droop off at the end of the tour normally is your hotel but we can leave you somewhere else like any comercial mall or any other place on the city you might choose.

Duration: 6 hours

a good time to start the city tour is 9:00 am and normally last 5 to 6 hours, we can fix the start time according your needs, however is very important to know the afternoon traffic is hevy in Panama and might affect the time of the tour.

TRANSPORTATION

i will drive you using a minivans suzuki ertiga, on some areas we will walk to have a better view an explanation of the site like the casco viejo neighborhood, coastway amador and the Ancon hill.

200 USD - you will need around $ 200 USD for tikets at the Miraflores center at the Panama Canal ( $ 15 each) and the rest of the money for lunch and souvenirs.

WHAT’S EXTRA

Panama is a tropical country and normally i rains during the afternoons for some minutes and the average temperatures are around 85 degrees so you must wear comfortable clothes and shoes.
