Embera Village Experience

As a tour guide I enjoy to show to my guests the different traditions and cultures that still remains with natives in Panama, one of these groups are the polite people of the Embera etnia, come with me and lets share a nice day of nature, hiking, traditions and culture.

ITINERARY

8:00 am pick up at your hotel in panama city 9:30 am arraiving at the local dock named Corotu at the Alajuela lake to aboard at the canoe. 10:00 am, arriving at the entrance of the trail to the waterfall (the hicking takes about 20 minutes or so depending on the weather and your phisical condition) 10:30 am arraiving at the waterfall where you can swim on the pond. 11:00 am, departing back to the Embera vilage for lunch and speach of the embera's history given by one of the embera lider. 12:00 noon, traditional embera's dances. 1:00 pm, walking at the village 2:00 pm, departing back to the city 3:30 pm, arriving to the hotel note: times might vary due to the traffic and season.

MEETING LOCATION + TOUR DURATION

Meeting location: lobby of your hotel or any other place where you are in the city

End location: Main entrance or lobby of your hotel or any other place in the city you want me to drop you off, example: a restaurant or any mall.

Duration: 7 hours

this tour has a duration of 5 or 6 hours due to the traffic in some hours

TRANSPORTATION

Transportation is private using my minivans suzuki ertiga model 2016, if your party is a group please let me know so I can get a bigger car.

WHAT’S INCLUDED

a/c private transportation using a minivans or minibus if you come in a group of more than 4 people, fees of the Chagres national park, fees of the indian village, fruits, beverages, traditional lunch at the Embera village (fried tilapia fish and fried plantains) and my services as tour guide.

ESTIMATED LOCAL CASH NEEDED

120 US Dollars - you will need about $ 120 for the tickets at the Miraflores Visitors center at the canal and the speed boat cost.

EXTRA

you will need: - comfortable Waterproof shoes, or any shoes that you don't mind to get wet. - outoors clothes, swimsuit, towels, extra underwear - plastic bag for the wet clothes, bugspray - hat or cap, sunblock - no flipflops - your camera for your memories fully charge
