The caribbean side of Panama has a beautiful coast and landscapes with montains cristal clear waters and a historic site like the ruins of the fort of Portobelo, Portobelo was founded in 1597 by Spanish explorer Francisco Velarde y Mercado. From the sixteenth to the eighteenth centuries it was an important silver-exporting port in New Granada on the Spanish Main and one of the ports on the route of the Spanish treasure fleets. on this tour you not only will enjoy the beautiful nature and beach but also you will visit a very important historical part of America.
ITINERARY
7:00 am pick up at the hotel 8:45 am arriving at portobelo to visit the ruins and museum 9:15 am departing from portobelo and head to Isla Grande (25 minutes driving) 9:45 am arriving to the dock tho take the speed boat to go to the island of Isla Grande. 10:00 am use of the faciities of the hotel 12:00 noon, lunch 2:30 pm bording the speed boat back to the dock 3:00 pm departing back to panama 5:00 pm drop off back to the hotel
